- Ouija (2014) [Debbie Galardi]: Hangs herself from the banister with Christmas lights after being possessed by the spirit of Sierra Heuermann. She appears via home videos and as a ghost throughout the rest of the film. (One of the trailers shows an alternate death scene where Shelley is thrown from her balcony and hits her chandelier on the way down.)
- Unfriended (2015) [Blaire Lily]: Killed (off screen) by the spirit of Heather Sossaman; the film cuts to black right as Heather attacks her.
TV Deaths
- Teen Wolf: The Wolves of War (2017) [Malia Tate]: Turned to stone (offscreen} by the Anuk-Ite Her statue is found by Holland Roden later. She is restored after the Anuk-Ite is turned to stone. Holland Roden has a vision of her (Shelley) as a statue in Teen Wolf: Broken Glass
