- Hour of the Gun (1967) [Morgan Earp]: Shot in the back with a shotgun (through a window) by one of Robert Ryan's men, while playing pool (the blast slightly misses James Garner). He then dies after whispering his last words to James (and also learning that he had won the election for city marshal).
Television Deaths[]
- Gunsmoke: The Gun (1970) [Wade Pasco]: Shot by James Arness when Sam draws his gun and tries to shoot James.
- Airwolf: HX-1 (1984) [Mace Taggart]: Killed when his helicopter was blown by Airwolf.
