Summary[]
Archbishop of San Salvador is publicly assassinated by Enrique Chacon (Raimund Harmstorf), a right-wing paramilitary and former CIA operative who has gone rogue. Austrian prince and CIA contractor Malko Linge (Miles O'Keeffe) needs money to redo the roof of his castle. The CIA will pay if goes to El Salvador to reason or assassinate Chacon.

- This was the last and third movie directed by Raoul Coutard, who was however a very prolific and respected cinematographer.
- This is an adaptation of a novel from the SAS series by Gérard de Villiers. Two other novels fom the series will be adapted in another movie, Eye of the Widow, in 1991.
- Assassination of Archbishop Óscar Romero is a real-life even that happened in 1980 and will also depicted in Oliver Stone's Salvador in 1986.
