Dragon Ball Z: Such Regret...!! The Proud Saiyan Vegeta Dies (1991; anime) [Vegeta]: Shot in the chest by Frieza (Ryusei Nakao) via laser beam from his finger; he dies shortly after talking to Goku (Masako Nozawa). Revived by the Earth's Dragon Balls in the episode, I am Son Goku's Son!! Gohan Returns to the Battlefield.
YuYu Hakusho (1993) [Karasu]: Blood drained by a vampire tree summoned by Megumi Ogata.
Dragon Ball Z: For Those Whom He Loves... Vegeta Perishes!! (1994; anime) [Vegeta]: Killed in an explosion using a technique to blow himself up with Majin Buu (Kozo Shioya). Revived by the Namekian Dragon Balls in the episode, Vegeta's Secret Plan!! Polunga and the Two Wishes.
