China White (Gwang tin lung fo wooi) (1989) [Bobby Chow] Shot by Billy Drago while talking to Lisa Schrage.
New Jack City (1991) [Park]: Stabbed in the chest by Wesley Snipes.
The Prophecy II (1998) (God's Army II) [Danyael]: Throat slashed by Christopher Walken, after Russell stays behind and holds him off long enough to protect Jennifer Beals and their unborn child, buying her time to run.
Romeo Must Die (2000) [Kai]: Skull and spinal column shattered by Jet Li with a blow to the head at the end of a martial arts fight when Jet figures out Russell killed his brother.
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008) [General Ming]: In the Ancient China segment, Russell is killed by dismemberment on Jet Li’s orders in retaliation for Michelle Yeoh having a romantic interest in Russell. During the present-day segment, Russell is brought back to life by Michelle to aid Brendan Fraser and Maria Bello. An undead Russell disintegrates into ash minutes after Jet is killed by Brendan.

Westworld: Decoherence (2020) [Brompton]: Shot in the head by Vincent Cassel's operatives.

True Crime: Streets of L.A. (2003): As the playable character, Russell could die at the hands of a hostile enemies during gameplay. For story-related deaths, he must lose to his opponent (either Mako or Gary Oldman) in one of the three respective ending missions of the game depending on his "Good Cop/Bad Cop" standing.
