• Die Another Day (2002) [Miranda Frost]: Stabbed in the heart (with a knife that was embedded in a copy of the book The Art of War) by Halle Berry at the end of a swordfight on a plane. (Thanks to Nick, S., Jeff and Mike)

• Burning Palms (2010) [Dedra]: Commits suicide by slitting her wrists in the bathtub (while still wearing her underwear). (Thanks to Matt)

• Gone Girl (2014) [Amy Dunne]: Although Rosamund survives the film in reality, there's a fantasy sequence invovling Rosamund committing suicide by drowning herself to frame her husband (Ben Affleck) as Rosamund describes what she plans to do.

• A United Kingdom (2016) [Ruth Williams]: Dies from cancer (off-screen) many years after the events of the film and buried alongside David Oyelowo; her death is mentioned in the closing text.
• Entebbe (2018) [Brigette Kuhlmann]: Shot to death (along with Daniel Brühl) by a solider.
