Film Deaths[]

  • Fighter Squadron (1948) [Captain Stu Hamilton]: Killed in a plane crash when his plane is shot down by German fighters; we last see him talking to Edmond O'Brien over the radio as his plane goes down.
  • Written on the Wind (1956) [Kyle Hadley]: Shot in the chest when his own gun goes off as Dorothy Malone struggles with him, trying to stop him from shooting Rock Hudson.
  • The Tarnished Angels (1958) [Roger Shumann]: Killed in a plane crash after he steers his burning plane into the ocean to avoid hitting the crowd at the air show.
  • The Transformers: The Movie (1986; animated) [Ultra Magnus]: Providing the voice of a robot, he is torn apart by Galvatron (Leonard Nimoy) and his Swoops while trying to open the Autobot Matrix. He is brought back to life when Wreck-Gar (Eric Idle) and his Junkions reassemble him.
