Robert Shayne (1900 - 1992)
Film Deaths[]
- Three Strangers (1946)
- Behind the Mask (1946) [Brad Thomas]: Presumably sentenced to death and executed by electric chair after the events of the film. Not confirmed but highly implied by Joseph Crehan who keeps saying that Kane Richmond's alter-ego will "get the chair" while under the impression that The Shadow is the one who committed Robert's crimes.
- Indestructible Man (1956) [Professor Bradshaw]: Throttled, along with his assistant Joe Flynn by Lon Chaney Jr who grabs both of them simultaneously by the throat after they have brought him back to life. (Thanks to Brian)
TV Deaths[]
- Columbo: Suitable for Framing (1971) [Rudy Matthews]: Shot to death by his nephew (Ross Martin) while Robert is playing the piano.
