Robert Lansing (1928 - 1994)
Film Deaths[]
- 4D Man (1959) [Dr. Scott Nelson]: Possibly killed when he passes through a wall of impenetrable metal. The movie ends with his fate deliberately left unclear since all we see is ‘The End’ but fallowed but a question mark.
- The Nest (1988) [Elias Johnson]: Killed by the cockroaches and became a human-cockroach hybrid. After the cockroach hybrid shed his body apart, Lisa Langlois killed it using a shotgun.
Television Deaths[]
- Bonanza: Cutthroat Junction (1961) [Jed Trask]: Shot to death (off camera) by Lorne Greene in the barn; we hear the shots, then see him fall dead to the ground.
- 12 O'Clock High: The Hero (1965) [Brig. Gen Frank Savage]: Killed in his bomber when a captured B-17 flown by the Germans shoots it down. (Note: Robert Lansing had left this series before this episode was made, but the dialogue within leaves no mistake about his character's death.)
- Cimarron Strip: Fool's Gold (1968) [Darcy]: Shot dead by Stuart Whitman as they stalk each other in the brush outside Slim Pickens' ranch.
- Gunsmoke: The Devil's Outpost (1969) [Yancy Tyce]: Shot by James Arness as he tries to move along the string of horses at the relay station corral.
