Hannie Caulder (1971) [Thomas Luther Price]: Stabbed when Ernest Borgnine throws a knife at him, while Robert is trying to arrest Jack Elam; he dies shortly afterwards. (Thanks to Brian)
Most Wanted (1997) [Donald Bickhart]: Shot by snipers as he's running away, after Jon Voight double crosses him on Paul Sorvino's suggestion. (His death is reported at the end of film as suicide, due to Sorvino covering up the conspiracy).

Santa's Slay (2005) [Grandpa Yuleson]: Run over by Bill Goldberg's demonic "reindeer"; he later reappears as an angel. (Played for comic effect.) (Thanks to Tyler)

The Westerner: Line Camp (1960) [Shep Prescott]: Shot in the stomach in a gunfight with Brian Keith. (Thanks to Brian)
Rawhide: Incident at the Top of the World (1961) [Craig Kern]: Trampled to death by stampedeing cattle.
The Outer Limits: The Architects of Fear (1963) [Allen Leighton]: After being surgically transformed into the appearance of an alien (Janos Prohaska), he is shot by one of Billy Green Bush's hunting party; he dies after making his way back to Geraldine Brooks in his laboratory (due to the dual nature of this role, I'm including it for both Robert and Janos). The Outer Limits: Demon with a Glass Hand (1964) [Trent]: Playing an android, he is temporarily "dead" after being shot by the alien Kyben; he is reactivated by Arlene Martel, following the instructions of Robert's cybernetic hand. (Thanks to Kenneth)
