- The Square Ring (1953) [Jim "Kid" Curtis]: Playing a one time boxing champ on the comeback trail, he is fatally beaten after winning his bout against Alf Hines, dying in the locker room a few minutes later. (Thanks to Brian)
TV Deaths[]
- Doctor Who: The Tenth Planet (1966) [General Cutler]: Killed by a Cyberman, as Robert is about to shoot William Hartnell. (I've never seen this serial, so I don't know of any other details).
- Blake's 7: The Way Back (1978) [Bran Foster]: Shot to death, along with all the other resistance members except for Gareth Thomas, by Federation troopers during the massacre on the resistance's base.
- The Martian Chronicles (1980) [General Halstead]: Presumably killed (along with everyone else on Earth) during a nuclear war.
