- Ode to Billy Joe (1976) [Billy Joe McAllister]: Commits suicide by jumping off the Tallahatchie Bridge.
- Beauty and the Beast (1991; animated) [Beast]: Voicing the titular monster, he dies after a dying Gaston (Richard White) stabs him. He is magically brought back to life while turned back into the Prince he was, only more kindly than the beginning, but not before being mourned by Belle (voice of Paige O'Hara) and the others (voiced by Jerry Orbach, Angela Lansbury, David Ogden Stiers, etc.).
