- F.I.S.T. (1978) [Mike Monahan]: Shot to death while trying to ram a gate in his truck during a strike.
- Wolf Lake (The Honor Guard) (1980) [George]: Shot by Rod Steiger for trying to leave after the shoot out starts.
- Get Out (2017) [Roman Armitage]: Richard's body dies (off-screen) several years before the film begins when his consciousness is transferred into Marcus Henderson's body. His consciousness then dies when Marcus shoots himself in front of Daniel Kaluuya. (Given the dual nature of the death, I'd say list it as both).

- V: The Final Battle (1984 miniseries) [John]: Shot in the back with a ray-gun by Jane Badler, after he refuses to go along with Jane's plan to destroy the Earth.
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Killed by Death (1998) [Dr. Stanley Backer]: Slashed by James Jude Courtney's claws.
Video Game Deaths[]
- Fallout: New Vegas (2010) [Father Elijah]: Depending on the player's choices, Richard can either be killed in a boss battle with the Courier, or lured into the Sierra Madre Casino's vault and sealed inside - in which case he dies of starvation/thirst or dehydration (off-screem).
