- Strange Bargain (1949) [Malcolm Jarvis]: Shot to death (off-screen) in a struggle with Katherine Emery. His body is shown afterwards when Jeffrey Lynn discovers him. The events of his death are shown in a flashback of Murder, She Wrote: The Days Dwindle Down, only Katherine's character was played by Gloria Stuart with a hand of someone playing Richard's character.
TV Deaths[]
- Alfred Hitchcock Presents: The Baby-Blue Expression (1960) [James Barrett]: Murdered offscreen by someone hired to do the job by Peter Walker, the lover of Richard's wife Sarah Marshall. (Thanks to Brian)
