- The Picture of Dorian Gray (1945) [James Vane]: Accidentally shot in the chest by Kenneth Hunter after Richard sneaks onto the hunting grounds while stalking Hurd Hatfield; we only see Kenneth firing, then hear Richard cry out from off-camera. His body is shown afterwards lying on the floor when Hurd goes to view the body.
