Richard Chamberlain (1934 - )
Film Deaths[]
- The Towering Inferno (1974) [Roger Simmons]: Falls dozens of stories to his death when an explosion from the fire causes the breeches buoy that he's on to fall, while he's trying to ride the buoy to safety.
- The Swarm (1978) [Dr. Hubbard]: Stung massively, along with Jose Ferrer and several others, by the swarm of bees when the bees attack the power plant, which causes the plant to explode. (It's really not clear if he was already dead or extremely critical at the time the plant exploded).
Television Deaths[]
- ITV Sunday Night Theatre: Hamlet (1970 TV) [Hamlet]: Slashed with a poison-tipped sword by Laertes (Nicholas Jones), he dies after killing Richard Johnson. (haven't seen this but we all know the play).
- The Thorn Birds (1983 mini-series) [Ralph de Bricassart]: Dies of old age/natural causes while talking to Rachel Ward (Richard was made to look much older than he was at the time).
