- The Alien Within (1995) [Hawkes]: Killed (off-screen) when the alien takes over his body and animates it; his body dies when the alien leaves it to Roddy McDowall after getting exposed in the chamber to prove it's really Richard or the alien.
- Strong Medicine (I don't know the exact episode; 2004) [Dr. Milo Morton]: Killed (off-screen) in a car accident. (The character's death was established after Richard's real-life death; I don't know which episode revealed the character's death, but Richard's final appearance was the 2004 episode Fractured.)
