- Broken Blossoms (Scarlett Blossoms; The Yellow Man and the Girl) (1919) [Cheng Huan]: Commits suicide by stabbing himself in the chest, after carrying Lillian Gish's body back to his shop and putting her to bed.
- The Finger Points [Breckenridge 'Breck' Lee]: A reporter on the take for the mob, he took money to not report the opening of a mob business called Waverly, another reporter broke the store and he wasn't around to prevent it, so the mobster had him machine gunned down in the street. Possibly by Clark Gable [Louis J. Blanco] as his voice was heard just before the shots were fired.
