- Deceiver (Liar) (1997) [Elizabeth]: Strangled (off-screen) in her bedroom by Michael Rooker. Her body is shown afterwards in a flashback when Tim Roth explains how he found her body and disposed of it.
- White Oleander (2002) [Claire Richards]: Commits suicide by taking an overdose of pills. Her body is shown afterwards when Alison Lohman wakes up next to her and discovers that she's dead.
- Bee Movie (2007; animated) [Vanessa Bloome]: Killed in a plane crash after skywriting a heart-shape in the air, in what turns out to be a dream sequence by Barry (voiced by Jerry Seinfeld); she survives the movie in reality (Played for comic effect).
- Same Kind of Different As Me (2017) [Deborah Hall]: Dies of terminal cancer. (Note: this movie is based on a book that's a true story, so this happened in real life),
