- Alibi (Nightstick: the Perfect Alibi) (1929) [Danny McGann]: Killed by Chester Morris.
- G-Men (1935) [Edward 'Eddie' Buchanan]: Shot to death by Barton MacLane.
- The Invisible Menace (Without Warning) (1938) [Lieutenant Matthews]: Shot in the chest by Cy Kendall while Regis is trying to hold Marie Wilson hostage.
- Union Pacific (1939) [Paddy O'Rourke]: Shot by Anthony Quinn at a bar table. He dies whilst talking to Joel McCrea.
- Northwest Mounted Police (1940) [Constable Jerry Moore]: Killed with two arrows into his chest from a Metis man as he stands on night guard duty. (Thanks to Brian)
- Mysterious Intruder (1946) [James Summers]: Shot in the chest in a shoot-out with Richard Dix.
- Station West (1948) [Jim Goddard]: Gunned down in cold blood by robber Dan White after being ushered away from the bullion wagon on which he was riding shotgun. (Thanks to Brian)
- Great Day in the Morning (1956) [Father Murphy]: Shot to death in the crossfire of a shoot-out in a saloon after he tries to make both sides stop shooting.
- Dakota Incident (1956) [Minstrel]: Driven mad by lack of water, he goes out of cover to a mirage of a lake and is shot down by the Cheyenne. (Thanks to Brian).
