- The League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse (2005) [Edward/Papa Lazarou/Geoff/Bernice/Reece/Father Halfhearte/Red Devil]: Plays multiple characters; 'Father Halfhearte' is stabbed with a sword by David Warner, 'Reece' falls to his death as he climbs up the wall of a church. (Played for comedic effect.)
- The Cottage (2008) [Peter]: Killed (off-screen) by Georgia Groome and Eden Watson in the basement; the movie ends with him screaming after he lights his lighter and sees that he's trapped in there with them.
- In the Earth (2021) [Zach]: Neck snapped when Ellora Torchia shoves him backwards after stabbing him in the eye with a tent peg.
- Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021) [The Priest]: Head bitten off by Woody Harrelson's symbiote Carnage despite of his earlier statement that he wouldn't kill him.

- Inside No. 9: Sardines (2014) [Stuart]: Burned alive (off-screen) by Tim Key; the episode ends with Tim preparing to set fire to the wardrobe that Reece and the rest of the cast are locked in.
- Inside No. 9: A Quiet Night In (2014) [Eddie]: Shot in the head (along with Steve Pemberton) by Kayvan Novak.
- Inside No. 9: The Trial of Elizabeth Gage (2015) [Mr. Warren]: Burned at the stake (off-screen).
- Inside No. 9: Once Removed (2018) [Viktor]: Stabbed in the back of the neck with a screwdriver by Monica Dolan.
- Inside No. 9: Tempting Fate (2018) [Nick]: Blown up alongside Steve Pemberton, Nigel Planer and Ruben Cryer, when Nigel turns on a faulty oven that explodes.
- Inside No. 9: Dead Line (2018) [Reverend Neil/Reece Shearsmith]: 1, Stabbed and dismembered by Steve Pemberton in the show-within-the-show segment of the episode (off-screen), his severed head is shown when Stephanie Cole finds it in Steve's microwave oven. 2, Playing himself, he falls down the stairs of the haunted TV studio and breaks his neck when when a ghost attacks him.
- Inside No. 9: Death Be Not Proud (2020) [Maureen Sowerbutts]: Dies of a tumour on her liver in the series Psychoville, Maureen appears in this episode as a corpse and a ghost who possesses Jenna Coleman.
- Inside No.9: Wuthering Heist (2021) [Scaramouche]: Shot in the head by Steve Pemberton during a standoff.
- Inside No.9: Simon Says (2021) [Simon]: Suffocated by Steve Pemberton.
- Inside No.9: Merrily, Merrily (2022) [Laurence]: Dies of hypothermia after jumping into freezing water to swim to an island. He's informed that he's dead by Patrice Naiambana, playing the ferryman.
- Inside No.9: Mr. King (2022) [Alan]: Taken to be used as a sacrifice by Steve Pemberton and the children of his school. We don't see this but it's stated to have happened to Reece's predecessor and is about to happen to him.
- The Witchfinder: Episode 6 (2022) [Matthew Hopkins]: Possibly beaten to death by Ruth Clarson-Horrocks and other suspected witches after Tim Key tricks him into entering their cell; we only see Tim walking away as Reece is beaten. (Historically inaccurate, because the real Matthew Hopkins actually died from tuberculosis aged 27).
- Inside No.9: The Last Weekend (2023) [Chazz]: Left in a bath full of cement to be eaten by wild animals as a form of torture by Steve Pemberton. The episode ends with Reece screaming in the tub but it leaves no doubt as to what will happen.
- 3 Body Problem: Destroyer of Worlds (2024) [Alan Turing]: Playing a character in an alternate-reality style "video game", he and Mark Gatiss are sliced in half with a katana by Jenson Cheng, as John Bradley and Jess Hong watch in shock.
