Ray Walston in The Stand
Ray Walston (1914 - 2001)
Film Deaths[]
- Caprice (1967) [Stuart Clancy]: Killed (though I don't know exactly how) when he attempts to kill Doris Day.
- Silver Streak (1976) [Mr. Edgar Whiney]: Possibly killed when he falls from a moving train after Patrick McGoohan steps on Ray's hands as he's trying to climb aboard (in addition to having been shot in the back by FBI agents). It's not confirmed whether the fall or the gunshot was fatal.
- Galaxy of Terror (1981) [Kore]: Disintegrated by Edward Albert. His spirit then possess Edward who becomes his new host.
- Blood Relations (1988) [Charles McLeod]: Brain surgically removed (off-screen) by Jan Rubes; his body (obviously a special-effects dummy) is shown afterwards when Lydie Denier discovers him with the top of his head removed.
TV Deaths[]
- Mission: Impossible: TOD-5 (1972) [Dr. Victor Flory]: Shot to death by Peter Graves.
- The Fall of the House of Usher (1979) [Thaddeus]: Killed (off-screen) by Dimitra Arliss. His body is shown afterwards when Robert Hays discovers him.

- Friday the 13th: The Series: Tales of the Undead (1988) [Jacob Steretski/Jay Star]: Stabbed in the chest with a pointed trophy by John D. LeMay while Ray is trying to kill Louise Robey after transforming into his comic character Ferrus the Invincible (the trophy being the robot's only weakness); he dies after changing back to normal. (Thanks to Kenneth)
- The Stand (1994 TV miniseries) [Glen Bateman]: Shot to death by Miguel Ferrer in a jail cell under orders from Jamey Sheridan. (See also Greg Kinnear in the 2020 version.)
