- Hot Tomorrows (1977) [Louis]: Killed in a car accident (off screen); we're informed of his death when Ken Lerner is informed and Ray later performs a surreal finale musical number with Lerner.
- Who'll Stop the Rain (Dog Soldiers) (1978) [Smitty]: Machine gunned by Nick Nolte after being disoriented by flashing lights activated by Joaquín Martínez and after having been disarmed in a fight with Michael Moriarty.
- Act of Piracy (1988) [Jack Wilcox]: Drowned after Gary Busey loops a cable around Ray's neck, trapping him on the deck of the sinking ship, on top of being stabbed in the chest with his own knife.
- Wired (1989) [Angel Velasquez]: Dies (off-screen) of a drug overdose, some time before the story begins; he appears as a ghost throughout the movie, acting as Michael Chiklis' guardian angel.

- The Hitchhiker: In Living Color (1989) [Eric Coleman]: Falls to his death from a window while backing away from Denise Virieux/Huguette Faget's ghost.
