Film Deaths[]
- Things to Come (1936) [The Boss]: Dies of a heart attack from fright from Raymond Massey's planes release a sleeping gas, which Ralph assumes to be poison gas attack.
- The Man Who Could Work Miracles (1937) [Colonel Winstanley]: Presumably suffocates in the vacuum of space along with the rest of humanity except for Roland Young due to Young using his powers to bring the Earth's rotation to an immediate halt, the sudden stop destroying and flinging everyone and everything on the Earth into space due to kinetic energy. His death is undone when Young reverses time to before he got his powers.
- The Citadel (1938) [Dr. Denny]: Hit by a car when he drunkenly staggers into the street; he dies on the operating table shortly afterwards while Robert Donat and Cecil Parker attempt to save him. (We only see Robert and Cecil during the surgery and not Ralph).
- The Day Will Dawn (The Avengers) (1942) [Frank Lockwood]: A war correspondent, he is found dying on a stretcher at the Calais dockside by Hugh Williams, and dies after telling Williams that the press building he was in was bombed by the Luftwaffe.
- The Heiress (1949) [Dr. Austin Sloper]: Dies (off-screen) of Lung disease. We only see a scene of his daughter (Olivia de Havilland) being summoned to his deathbed and refusing to come.
- Richard III (1955) [Duke of Buckingham]: Executed (off-screen) by beheading. We only hear of his capture and Laurence Olivier saying "Off with his head! So much for Buckingham." He briefly appears as a ghost with other of Laurence's victims during his nightmare.
- Woman of Straw (1964) [Charles Richmond]: Killed (off-screen) by Sean Connery; his body is shown throughout the rest of the movie after Sean and Gina Lollobrigida place him in his wheelchair to make it look as if Ralph is just asleep.
- Watership Down (1978; animated) [Chief Rabbit]: Providing the voice of a rabbit, he is poisoned (off-screen) along with all the other rabbits who refused to leave the warren, when the developers exterminate them.
- Dragonslayer (1981) [Ulrich]: A sorcerer, he is stabbed in the chest by John Hallam as part of a test to see whether he could actually be killed. He later returns, only to be finally killed when in the talons of the dragon and Peter MacNicol crushes his magic amulet causing Ralph's to explode killing him and the dragon.
- Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes (1984) [The Sixth Earl of Greystoke]: Fatally injured in a fall down a staircase when he tries to relive his childhood by sliding down the stairs on a silver tray. (this film was released a year after his death)
