Plot

  1. The teaser trailer generated more than 150 million views in its first 48 hours.
  2. Bryan Cranston, who plays Zordon in the film, previously voiced the monsters Twin Man and Snizzard in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (1993).
  3. Jason David Frank was kicked out of a theater for trying to record his cameo during the premiere of the movie.
  4. Elizabeth Banks improvised eating the gold necklace at the jewelry store.
  5. Originally scheduled for release on July 22, 2016, Lionsgate delayed the release to January 2017 to allow the film "room to grow." The date was pushed again to March 24, 2017.
