  • Pulp Fiction (1994) [Marvin]: Accidentally shot in the face by John Travolta in the car, when John turns to talk to Phil while unintentionally holding a gun on him.
  • The Animatrix (2003; animated) [Duo]: Voicing a program, he is destroyed by Cis (voiced by Hedy Burress).

Television Deaths[]

  • MADtv: Halloween Spooktacular (1998) [Michael Jackson]: Head explodes when Ace Frehley, Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, and Peter Criss shoot Phil with beams of energy.
  • MADtv: Spishak Namprine Commerical (????) [Husband]: Head explodes after taking Namprine Super Strength just as he thinks his headache is gone and thanks Spishaks.
  • Futurama: Fear of a Bot Planet (1999; animated) [Hermes Conrad/Rusty]: "Rusty" gets his head ripped off by the "Human" (John DiMaggio), who then proceeds to eat the head, as Wendy (Tress MacNeille) watches in horror, in It Came from Planet Earth, a movie within a show. (Played for comic effect.)
  • Futurama: Anthology of Interest I (2000; animated) [Hermes Conrad]: In the anthology "Dial L for Leela", he is chopped into pieces with an axe (off-screen) by Leela (Katey Sagal). His cries of pain can be heard while Zoidberg (Billy West) is trying to investigate the murders. Leela later disposes of his body parts in a trash compactor. (Played for comic effect.)
  • Samurai Jack: Aku's Fairy Tales (2001; animated) [Jack]: Jack's deaths are in told in different stories by Aku (Mako Iwamatsu): 1. Eaten by a Frog, 2. Fell off a Beanstalk, 3. Eaten by Mice, 4. Crushed by a Genie, 5. eaten by a Fly, 6. Stomp on by a Giant Shoe, 7. Destroy by Aku. All of these stories were told by Aku in attempt to get the Kids to hate Jack, but failed. Jack survived the episode, as he doesn't actually appeared and only appears in stories told by Aku and the Kids.
  • Futurama: Crimes of the Hot (2002; animated) [Mr. Sunbeam]: In the movie within the show None Like It Hot!, he, along with other Mr. Sunbeams, is beaten to death by the Greenhouse Gases (John DiMaggio) in a demostration showing how global warming happens. (Played for comic effect.)
  • Robot Chicken: Badunkadunk (2005; animated) ["Black" Michael Jackson]: Shot to death at his own request by Seth Green alongside Phil's alien doppelganger (also voiced by Seth Green)
  • Afro Samurai: The Empty Seven Clan (2007; animated) [Brother 1/Brother 3/Brother 5]: Brother 5 is stabbed through the neck by Afro (Samuel L. Jackson) on top of having his ribs crushed with the hilt of his sword. (Brothers 1 and 3 survive).
  • Celebrity Deathmatch: The Banter Bloodbath (2007; animated) [John Salley]: Decapitated after "Rob Dibble" (voiced by Kevin Brief) repeatedly uppercuts him in rapid succession; his head then lands on the ringpost behind him. (Played for comic effect.)
  • Futurama: Bender's Big Score (2007; animated) [Phillip Joshua Fry]: Dies sometime in the 21st century, possibly killed by Bender (John DiMaggio). Though not directly stated, it is a given, considering the setting of the show.
  • Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Blue Shadow Virus (2009; animated) [Tactical Droid]: Crushed by Shelves that Jar Jar (also voiced by LaMarr under the pseudonym "B.J. Hughes") accidentally knocked down while trying to catch a bug.
  • Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Hostage Crisis (2009; animated) [Orn Fee Taa/Bail Organa/Philo]: "Philo" is shot in the back by Cad Bane (Corey Burton). "Orn Free Taa" and "Bail Organa" both live.
  • Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Cat and Mouse (2010; animated) [Bail Organa/TI-99]: "TI-99" is destroyed by missiles that hit the Bridge of Admiral Trench's (Dee Bradley Baker) ship, when Anakin (Matt Lanter) directed them to the Bridge. Bail Organa lives.
  • Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Water Wars (2011; animated) [Quarren Soldier/Kit Fisto/Brother Lemcke]: "Quarren Soldier" is slashed by Anakin Skywalker (Matt Lanter). "Kit Fisto" and "Brother Lemcke" live.
  • Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes: Acts of Vengeance (2012; animated) [Simon Williams a.k.a Wonder Man]: Sacrificed himself to stop Zemo (Robin Atkin Downes). from using the Norn Stone to destroy the Avengers.
  • Futurama: Murder on the Planet Express (2013; animated) [Dan McMasters]: Shot to death by Fry (Billy West) and Bender (John DiMaggio) after they mistake him for a shapeshifting alien.
  • Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Voices (2014; animated) [Kit Fisto]: Killed along with Saesee Tiin (Dee Bradley Baker) by Darth Sidious's (Tim Curry) Lightsaber. His death was only a vision to Yoda (Tom Kane)
  • Star Wars: Rebels: Secret Cargo (2017; animated) [Tyson]: Shot down by Vult Skerris (voiced by Mario Vernazza).
  • Harley Quinn: The Line (2020; animated) [Praxis]: Stabbed through the back of the head by Queen of Fables (voiced by Wanda Sykes) with her staff.
  • Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Shattered (2020; animated) [Kit Fisto]: Although, he doesn't appear, he was killed offscreen by Darth Sidious (Ian McDiarmid). (Note: This episode is set during Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005), see also Ben Cooke who played Kit Fisto in the movies.)
  • Star Wars: The Bad Batch: Devil's Deal (2021; animated) [Orn Free Taa]: Shot in the Head by Crosshair (Dee Bradley Baker) while giving a speech to his people. (Note: However in a book set sometime after the events of the episode, he survived the Blaster shot, but possibility perished in the Star Destroyer he was on before it exploded.)
  • The Book of Boba Fett: Chapter 7: In The Name of Honor (2022) [Klatoonian Boss/Pyke Boss]: Voicing two aliens, the "Klatoonian Boss" is shot and the "Pyke Boss" is stabbed in his back by Ming-Na Wen.
  • Invincible: This Must Come as a Shock (2024; animated) [Salamander]: Dies of a brain aneurysm after Shrinking Rae (Grey Griffin) goes inside his head, coming out of his eye.

Video Game Deaths[]

  • Vampire: The Masqerade - Bloodlines (2004) [Skelter/Fat Larry/Dennis/Malcolm]: Depending on the player's decisions, "Dennis" can be killed during the attack on the beach house. However, if the player lets him live, he will later be dismembered (offscreen) by André Sogliuzzo in revenge for assaulting him.
  • Jak X: Combat Racing (2005) [G.T Blitz/Mizo/Sig]: Blown up along with Phil's car after being defeated and left to die by Mike Erwin (Sig survives in the game).
  • The Da Vinci Code (2006) [Jacques Saunière]: Shot in the stomach by Andreas A. Esparza in the museum. His naked body has been discovered by Robert Clotworthy and Enn Reitel.
  • Metal Gear Solid 4: Gun of the Patriots (2008) [Vamp]: Dies of injuries inflicted by Quinton Flynn when he injects himself with the nanomachine supressor. The nanomachines have kept him alive despite being wounded all over his body through the years.
  • Saint's Row 2 (2009) [Mr. Sunshine]: Decapitated with a machete by the player after being shot many times in the chest to no avail. His severed head is then chucked onto the conveyor belt in the meat packing plant where the final fight with him occurs.
  • Infamous 2 (2011) [John White/The Beast]: The result of two optional timelines, based on the choice of bad and good karma. In the bad ending, Phil in "Beast" form dies when he relinquished his powers to Eric Ladin. In the good ending, Phil is killed along with all other Conduits in the world when Eric uses the RFI (Ray Field Inhibitor) to defeat him.
  • Dead Island: Riptide (2013) [Sam B]: Although it remains unconfirmed, he likely dies, either due to a mutagen he injected into himself that could turn him into a zombie, or is killed by one of the zombified characters. Hints towards this is the zombie noises that are made in the ending as a hatch on a boat opens. However, there is a possibility that he survived, as shown when Kim Mai Guest was revealed to have survived.
  • Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon (2013) [Lieutenant T.T. 'Spider' Brown]: Killed by having his back broken by Danny Blanco Hall in front of Michael Biehn and Grey Griffin.
  • Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath (2020) [Kotal Kahn]: Beheaded offscreen by order of Ike Amadi and Mara Junot. His fate may possibly have been averted by Matthew Yang King's resetting of history if the player chooses to have Matthew win the final battle against Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa.
  • Invincible: It's Been A While (2023; animated) [Lucan]: Succumbs to his wounds brought from a fight with J.K. Simmons.
