- Murder on the Orient Express (2017) [Col. John Armstrong]: Committed suicide by shooting himself out of grief over the deaths of his three-year-old daughter and his wife (Miranda Raison).
- The Good Liar (2019) [Roy Courtnay]: Shot in the face by Aleksandar Jovanovic during a standoff, before Daniel escapes. Laurie Davidson is wounded in the shooting, and proceeds to take on Phil's identity. This is revealed in flashback when Ian McKellen tells the story to Helen Mirren and Russell Tovey.
