Film Deaths[]

The Murder of Mary Phagan (1988) [Leo Frank]: Lynched by the KKK (I haven’t seen this but I’m familiar with the history).
Late for Dinner (1991) [Bob Freeman]: Murdered (off-screen) during the passage of time. We learn of his death when Colleen Flynn tells Brian Wimmer about what had happened to him.
House on Haunted Hill (1999) [Donald W. Blackburn, M.D.]: Stabbed repeatedly with a scalpel by Famke Janssen (he dies as she looks him in the eyes), who then decapitates his body and uses him to frame Geoffrey Rush for Peter's murder. His headless body and severed head are later found in a deprivation chamber by Taye Diggs, Ali Larter and Chris Kattan.

Titanic (1996 TV) [Wynn Park]: Freezes (off-screen) during the sinking of the RMS Titanic. His death is confirmed when Catherine Zeta-Jones and Janne Mortil find his body aboard on the RMS Carpathia.
Superman: The Animated Series: Where There's Smoke (1998; animated) [Agent Kurt]: Killed in an explosion after Volcana (Peri Gilpin) accidentally ignites some gas tanks with her fire powers.
How I Met Your Mother; The Final Page Part 1 (2012) [Professor Vinick]: In a dream sequence, Peter explodes after Josh Radnor throws a lite cigarette onto the floor, causing a trail of fire to lead to Gallagher (Peter survives the episode in reality). (Played for comic effect)
