Peppermint (2018)
Director: Pierre Morel
Synopsis[]
Five years after her beloved daughter (Cailey Fleming) and husband (Jeff Hephner) were assassinated by cartel members in which she somehow survived, Riley North (Jennifer Garner) returns to Los Angeles, hardened into a merciless fighting machine. On seeing no progress has been made to bring her family's murderers to justice (which led to her being falsely branded insane and committed by corrupt justice department members), Riley takes matters into her own hands and systematically begins dispatching all those responsible, while being pursued by law enforcement, while her actions are divided between criminal and heroic.
