- Black Widow (1954) [Nancy "Nanny" Ordway]: Strangled off-screen with a scarf by Ginger Rogers, who then hangs her body to make it look like suicide. We only see the shadow on the wall when Van Heflin and Gene Tierney discover her. Peggy Ann was pregnant at the time of her death, consequently, her unborn child also died. (Thanks to Mickey)
