Film Deaths[]

Mud (2012) [Carver]: Shot in the chest by Sam Shepard after Paul shoots at Matthew McConaughey. His body is shown again after the police discover him.
Thoroughbreds (2018) [Mark]: Stabbed to death (off-screen) by his step-daughter (Anya Taylor-Joy). His death is never shown and is only heard in the background as the camera stays focused on Olivia Cooke sleeping on Anya's couch before Anya covers Mark's blood on Olivia to frame her for the murder.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Manhunt (2001) [Marvin Posey]: Murdered by R.E. Rodgers.
Person of Interest: Relevance (2013) [Wilson]: Shot once in the chest and once in the head with a silenced handgun by Sarah Shahi as revenge for Ebon Moss-Bachrach's death, while Jay O. Sanders looks on.
Boardwalk Empire: Friendless Child (2014) [Mickey Doyle]: Shot once in the throat by Vincent Piazza with a hangun, just as Paul was attempting to calm their situation down and to secure himself a job with Vincent's criminal organisation, despite Steve Buscemi advising him not to.
House of Cards: Chapter 64 (2017) [Thomas Yates]: Dies of poison given to him by Robin Wright, while both of them are having sex. He dies shortly afterwards; his body is later seen when Campbell Scott finds him.
Get Shorty: The Pitch (2017) [Owen]: Shot in the head by Sean Bridgers as Chris O'Dowd looks on in shock. His body is later seen again when Sean and Chris dispose of it.
Waco: Day 51 (2018) [Steve Schneider]: Commits suicide by shooting himself in the mouth while trapped in a burning compound (off-screen); we only hear a gunshot as the camera cuts away.
Joe Pickett: Open Season (2022) [Wayne Hedeman]: Shot to death by Michael Dorman.
