Film Deaths[]
- Alien 3 (1992) [Walter Golic]: Mauled to death by a Xenomorph, after Paul decides to let the alien out from the containment room its locked in. (Paul's death is only featured in the extended Workprint version on the DVD and Blu-ray; in the Theatrical Cut, his character dies off-screen at some point, likely during an explosion in the tunnels that kills many of the other prisoners).
- The Three Musketeers (1993) [Girard/Jussac]: Girard survives (although we see him running for his life with uncertain outcome in the last seconds of the movie), Jussac falls to his death during a battle with Chris O'Donnell.
- Lesbian Vampire Killers (2009) [The Vicar]: Bitten on the throat and drained of blood (off-screen) by Silvia Colloca and Vera Filatova or their fellow vampire cohorts when he sacrifices himself in order for Mathew Horne, James Corden and MyAnna Buring can get back to their car to retrieve a sacred sword. (Played for comic effect.)
Television Deaths[]
- Inspector Morse: Death Is Now My Neighbour (1997) [Geoffrey Owens]: Murdered offscreen by Maggie Steed, shot in the head sitting in an armchair in his living room.
- Waking the Dead: Waterloo (2011) [ACC Tony Nicholson]: Executed by being shot in the head by one of David Bradley's thugs, after Trevor Eve hands him over to David for having murdered David's son.
- Doctor Who: The Night of the Doctor (2013; mini-episode) [Eighth Doctor]: Killed when the spaceship he is on crashes; he's briefly resurrected by Clare Higgins, before regenerating into his next "warrior" incarnation (John Hurt).
- Ripper Street: The Good Of This City (2013) [Stanley J. Bone]: An engineer commissioned to install the first electrified line on the London Underground, in running from the police he goes down the tunnel and is electrocuted on the very same line.
