Film Deaths[]

Titanic (1997) [Quartermaster Robert Hichens]: Dies (off-screen) during the passage of time between the 1912 flashbacks and the present-day scenes. (Historically, Robert Hichens died of heart failure in 1940, but the film does not address the specifics of his death.)
Kingdom of Heaven (2005) [Son of Roger de Cormier]: Has a metal blade slammed into the back of his head by Kevin McKidd NOTE: This scene is in only in the director's cut of the film.
The Voices (2014) [Jerry's Stepfather]: Dies (off-screen) under unspecified circumstances, at some point between the flashbacks to Ryan Reynolds' childhood and the present-day sequences. He appears in flashbacks and as a spirit in Heaven when Ryan dies and meets him. (It's ambiguous whether or not the final scene is an actual afterlife experience or simply Ryan's dying hallucination.) The US DVD also includes a deleted scene in which Ryan hallucinates having a conversation with Paul's ghost in a bowling alley.

Hornblower: Retribution (2001) [Sergeant Whiting]: Beaten to death by one of Antonio Gil's soldiers, as they rush to the weapons cabinet which Paul was guarding.
