Patrick Wayne in Matt Houston: Cash and Carry

Film Deaths[]

  • The Alamo (1960) [James Butler Bonham]: Run through with a sword during the final battle while fighting off Mexicans on horseback; Patrick is last seen on the ground holding his wound, but it's obvious he dies. (Historically, the real James Butler Bonham body was found in the chapel).
  • The Comancheros (1961) [Tobe]: Shot in the back with an arrow by Comanches as he rides while looking for John Wayne and Stuart Whitman (unaware they’ve been captured by the Comanches ). His body is seen when a Indian is disguised and is shown to be him. (Thanks to Brian)
  • Shenandoah (1965) [James Anderson]: Stabbed in the stomach by one of the scavengers while they raid his farm. His body is later buried.
  • An Eye for an Eye (1966) [Pat Garrett Jr but calling himself Ben Wallace): Shot in the back with a rifle by Strother Martin hiding in the corral after Patrick has killed Slim Pickens. (Thanks to Brian)
  • Rustlers Rapsody (1985) [Bob Barber]: Shot in the face by Tom Berenger during a showdown between two "Good Guys". (Played for comic effect since up to that point Tom only shot the guns out of the bad guy's hands.)

TV Deaths[]

  • Matt Houston: Cash and Carry (1984) [Jack Wolcott]: Jack Wolcott is watching a baseball game on TV when his doorbell rings. He opens the door to find a hitman pointing a gun and silencer at his stomach. Before he can react or say a word, he is shot once and collapses on the floor as his shooter fights detective Matt Houston who arrives on the scene. The shooter escapes, and Walcott is pronounced DOA at the hospital.
  • Murder, She Wrote: Murder, She Spoke (1987) [Randy Witworth]: Stabbed in the back by Fredric Lehne in his office. Dies shortly after an ambulance tries to get him to the hospital, and the murder is shown in a flashback later on.
