  • Berserk: The Golden Age Arc I - The Egg of the King (2012; anime) [Pippin/The Black Ram Captain]: The Black Ram Captain is killed in battle by the Band of the Hawk; Pippin survives the movie.
  • Berserk: The Golden Age Arc III - The Advent (2014; anime) [Pippin]: Killed in battle by demons, while buying time for Caska (Carrie Keranen) and Judeau (Christopher Kromer); his body is later seen hollowed out and used to lure Guts (Marc Diraison) into a trap.
  • Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge (2020; animated) [Hanzo Hashashi/Scorpion]: Playing both Hanzo Hashashi and his undead version Scorpion, Hanzo is killed by an ice-shard thrown into his skull by Quan Chi (Darin De Paul) (disguised as Sub-Zero (Steven Jay Blum)). Scorpion dies from falling building debris when Shang Tsung's (Artt Butler) island falls apart.

  • Gun X Sword: Vengeance Within (2006; anime) [Joe Lutz]: Mortally wounded after Dann cuts through his armor, the Golden Cradle, Joe attempts to take Van (David Vincent) with him as a final sacrifice for the Claw (Kirk Thornton). The Golden Cradle explodes, taking Joe with it, but Dann and Van remain unscathed, leaving Joe's sacrifice all for naught.
  • Fate/stay Night: The Golden King (2007; anime) [Souichirou Kuzuki]: Stabbed to death with weapons summoned by Gilgamesh (Grant George).
  • Hellsing Ultimate: Chapter II (2007; anime) [Luke Valentine]: Eaten alive by Alucard's (Crispin Freeman) Baskerville hound after insulting him.
  • Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood: The Adults' Way of Life (2011; anime) [Sloth]: Impaled on a spike protruding from the floor by Armstrong (Christopher Sabat) and Sig (Bob Carter); his body crumbles to dust upon his death.
  • Fate/Zero: False Start (2013; anime) [Assassin]: Stabbed to death with arrows thrown at him by Gilgamesh (David Vincent), while trying to infiltrate the Tohsaka mansion.
  • Sailor Moon: Usagi's Awakening! A Message from the Distant Past (2014; anime) [Kunzite]: Killed with his own energy blade after Sailor Moon (Stephanie Sheh) redirects it back at him with her Moon Healing Escalation attack. As he dies, he reaches out for Zoisite (Lucien Dodge).
  • Hellsing Ultimate: Chaper IX (2014; anime) [Luke Valentine]: Restored by a rejuvenated Walter C. Dornez (Liam O'Brien) after he mortally wounds the Baskerville hound, only to be controlled by Walter for use against Alucard (Crispin Freeman). Alucard, to kill Luke for good, shoots him in the head with the Casull.
  • Digimon Fusion: Beelzemon's Revenge (2015; anime) [Blastmon]: While DigiFused with Laylamon (Cindy Robinson), destroyed by Beelzemon (Matthew Mercer) with a kamikaze attack, obliterating Laylamon in an explosion, and Blastmon with her.
  • Sailor Moon Crystal: Enemy -Queen Metalia- (2016; anime) [Kunzite]: Destroyed by Queen Metalia (Mary Elizabeth McGlynn) with an energy wave. He later appears as a ghost.
  • Hunter × Hunter: Condition × and × Condition (2017; anime) [Uvogin]: Heart destroyed by Kurapika's (Erika Harlacher) chain; his body is then seen being buried by Kurapika.
  • Fate/Apocrypha: Going Beyond (2018; anime) [Kairi Sisigou]: Stabbed all over his body by Assassin of Red (Allegra Clark); he dies of blood loss while talking to Saber of Red (Erica Lindbeck).
  • JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Stardust Crusaders: The Faraway Journey, Farewell Friends (2018; anime) [DIO]: Killed when Jotaro Kujo (Matthew Mercer) uses Star Platinum to destroy The World's leg, causing DIO to combust with blood, as the injuries of The World are connected with DIO's. With his last breaths, he yells out his own name as his head and leg explode into bloody scraps. To ensure that DIO is destroyed for good, after Joseph Joestar (Richard Epcar) is revived via a blood transfusion from DIO's corpse, both Jotaro and Joseph expose the corpse to sunlight, destroying DIO for good.
  • KonoSuba: A Conclusion to This Worthless Fight! (2019; anime) [Beldia]: After being weakened by Aqua's (Faye Mata) Sacred Create Water ability, Kazuma (Arnie Pantoja) and some of Axel's citizens play soccer with his head long enough for Aqua to destroy him completely with her Sacred Turn Undead attack, disintegrating both head and body.
  • Dragon Ball Super: A Miraculous Conclusion! Farewell, Goku! Until We Meet Again! (2019; anime) [Jiren]: Erased alongside the rest of Universe 11 by the Zenos (Sarah Wiedenheft) at the conclusion of the Tournament of Power. Brought back to life with the Super Dragon Balls at the end of the episode.
  • Attack on Titan: Retrospective (2022; anime) [Keith Shadis]: Killed in an explosion (alongside Magath (Neil Kaplan)) while helping Magath blow up a warship.

Video Game Deaths[]

  • StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty (2010) [Protoss Hierarch Artanis]: In one possible future where Tricia Helfer is dead, Patrick perishes in battle alongside Cree Summer and Fred Tatasciore during a playable mission. This possible future is nullified by Robert Clotworthy by the end of the game.
  • Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal (Lyric) fall of the height
  • Mortal Kombat (2011) [Scorpion] Killed and impaled in the back by Jim Miller, while his past self lives in a new altered timeline after Armageddon was prevented.
  • Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown (2019) [Wiseman]: Shot down by a missile launched from Kyle Hebert's Su-30SM, the explosion killing him instantly.
