- Poirot: The Murder of Roger Ackroyd (2000) [Dr. Sheppard]: Commits suicide by shooting himself in the head during a standoff with David Suchet and the police.
- Foyle's War: A Lesson in Murder (2002) [Lawrence Gascoigne]: Shot three times in the chest by his wife (Cheryl Campbell) in his study, after he admits to killing Gregg Prentice. His body is shown afterwards as Michael Kitchen and Anthony Howell investigate the crime scene, and the shooting is shown in a flashback later on when Cheryl confesses.
- Midsomer Murders: Hidden Depths (2005) [Otto Benham]: Pelted to death with various wine bottles by James Weber Brown while his wife (Lucy Russell) looks on and gives directions to James when he misses.
- Hamlet (2009 TV) [Polonius]: Shot through a mirror by David Tennant, who had mistaken him for Patrick Stewart.
- Game of Thrones: The North Remembers (2012) [Maester Cressen]: Deliberately poisons himself by drinking from the cup he had intended to kill Carice van Houten. however van Houten drinking without effect from the poison and smiled to him. then he fell infront Stephen Dillane - his king and his allies.
- Marple: A Caribbean Mystery (2013) [Major Palgrove]: Dies after drinking a cocktail that was spiked with heart medication by Robert Webb.
