- The Day After Tomorrow (2004) [Japanese Policeman]: Killed when a large hailstone falls and hits him on the head (right when the hailstorm happens).
- John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017) [Assassin]: Stabbed in the throat with a pencil by Keanu Reeves. Once Keanu has killed another assassin, Nobuya attempts to attack him again, only for Keanu to stab him again, before impaling Nobuya through the back of the neck with the pencil.
- Midway (2019) [Capt. Tomeo Kaku]: Drowns (off-screen) along with Tadanobu Asano when the Hiryū is scuttled.
