- Doctor Who: The Daleks' Master Plan: The Traitors (1965) [Bret Vyon]: Shot to death by his sister (Jean Marsh), who had been tricked into believing that Nicholas was a traitor. (The footage from this episode was erased during the BBC's periodic house-cleaning, and no copies are known to exist at this time.)
- Doctor Who: Inferno pt.6 (1970) [Brigade Leader Lethbridge-Stewart]: Shot by Caroline John before he can try to shoot Jon Pertwee.
- Whodunnit?: Last Tango in Tooting (1977) [Peter Hampshire]: Poisoned after Victor Winding inserts a poisoned pin into Nicholas' shoe, causing Nicholas to prick his toe when he puts on his shoes. He dies shortly afterwards while dancing with Helen Cotterill during the dance competition.
- Doctor Who: The Wedding of River Song (2011) [Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart]: Dies (off-screen) of old age/natural causes; we learn of his death afterwards when Matt Smith gets the news. (Nicholas did not appear in this episode, as it was filmed after his real-life death.)
