Film Deaths[edit | edit source]

  • Excalibur (1981) [Lancelot]: Dies after engaging in combat with Robert Addie's men during the final battle in the fog, as a result of self-inflicting wounds from his own sword several scenes ago (having dueling against himself while asleep and having a nightmare, before dueling with Liam Neeson in a tournament); wounds that never healed. He dies in Nigel Terry's arms after reconciliation.
  • Lionheart (1987) [Charles De Montfort]: Killed by enemy knights during a battle, while Eric Stoltz looks on helplessly from several feet away.
