- Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Wish (1998) [Alexander 'Xander' Harris]: In an alternate reality created when Emma Caulfield grants Charisma Carpenter's wish, Nicholas was killed and turned into a vampire at some point in the past. The vampire Nicholas is stabbed in the chest with a wooden stake by Sarah Michelle Gellar; his body turns to dust as he dies. He returns to life as his normal human self after the proper reality is restored.
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Restless (2000) [Alexander 'Xander' Harris]: In a dream sequence, his heart is torn out by Sharon Ferguson (in the form of Michael Harney); he survives the episode in reality (due to Sarah Michelle Gellar defeating Sharon before the dreams can turn fatal).
