Left 4 Dead 2 (2009) [Crazy Church Guy]: Infected with the Green Flu some time before the survivors encounter him in the "Death Toll" campaign, After refusing to let the survivors into the safehouse he has locked himself in, Nathan ultimately mutates into a zombie offscreen that the player and other survivors are required to kill in order to proceed. Although this occurs in a Left 4 Dead 1 campaign, it can be counted because its levels were ported into Left 4 Dead 2.

Meet the Demoman (2007) [RED Scout]: Shot to death by sentry gun built by Grant Goodeve.
Meet the Sandvich (2008) [Scout]: Punched (off-screen) to death by Gary Schwartz.
Meet the Pyro (2012) [BLU Scout]: Shot dead with a flare gun by Dennis Bateman.
