Murder On The Orient Express (2017)
Directed by Kenneth Branagh
A lavish trip through Europe quickly unfolds into a race against time to solve a murder aboard a train, when shady passenger Samuel Ratchell (Johnny Depp) is stabbed in his sleeping compartment. When an avalanche stops the Orient Express dead in its tracks, the world's greatest detective -- Hercule Poirot (Kenneth Branagh) -- arrives along with Oriental Express Director Bouc (Tom Bateman) to interrogate all passengers (Daisy Ridley, Willem Dafoe, Leslie Odom Jr., Josh Gad, Penelope Cruz, Judi Dench, Derek Jacobi, Marwan Kanzari, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Sergei Polunin, Lucy Boynton, Olivia Colman and Michelle Pfeiffer) and search for clues before the killer can strike again. Could this homicide have something to do with Ratchell might once being Lanfranco Cassetti, mastermind behind a notorious fatal kidnapping of Daisy Armstrong? If so then could this be the start of a series of patient acts of retaliation?
