Film Deaths[edit | edit source]

  • Murder, My Sweet (Farewell, My Lovely) (1944) [Moose Malloy]: Shot to death by Miles Mander in Miles' living room; the scene goes to black after the first shot blinds Dick Powell, and we hear two more shots. Dick is later informed that Mike managed to get hold of the gun and shoot Miles before dying.
  • Dick Tracy (Dick Tracy, detective; splitface) (1945) [Alexis 'Splitface' Banning]: Falls to his death from a balcony at the end of a fight with Morgan Conway. (Thanks to Anton)
  • Mysterious Intruder (1946) [Harry Pontos]: Shot to death (off-camera) in a shoot-out with the police at his hide-out; we only hear the shots as Richard Dix flees from the scene. His death is confirmed when Charles Lane and Barton MacLane question Richard the next day.
  • Some Like It Hot (1959) [Spats' Henchman]: Machine-gunned, along with George Raft and his fellow subordinates, when a hitman (Edward G Robinson Jr.) jumps out of a cake during a banquet.
  • 7 Women (1966) [Tunga Khan]: Poisoned by Anne Bancroft when they drink poisoned tea together in his tent. (Thanks to Mac)
