  • Mobile Suit Gundam 8th MS Team: Duty and Ideals (2001; anime) [Baresto Rosita]: Killed when Dell (Kirk Thornton) activates his Zaku's boosters, incinerating him along with his partner (Joe Romersa).
  • Kikaider 01 The Animation: The Fate of Pinocchio (2003; anime) [Professor Gill/Gill Hakaider]: Dies from getting his brain crushed by a completely remorseless and vengeful Jiro/Kikaider (Dave Wittenberg) just as the Armageddon Lord explodes.
  • Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex: SA: Assassination Duet - Lost Heritage (2005; anime) [Tsujisaki]: Died of natural causes (off-screen) right before the events of the episode itself. During the episode, Tsujisaki's ghost merges with that of his son Yu (Steve Staley), intending to assassinate a politician whom he blamed for his wife's death. However, Section 9 manages to hack Yu's cyberbrain, inadvertently destroying Tsujisaki's ghost forever in the process.
  • Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG: IN: To Those Without Even A Name - Selecon (2006; anime) [Renjo Sokichi]: Decapitated along with several other members of the Individual Eleven in a murder suicide while Hideo Kuze (Kirk Thornton) escapes.

Video Game Deaths

  • Star Wars: The Old Republic (2011) [Harron Tavus/Nomen Karr]: In the Trooper storyline, Tavus can die after the final battle if the player chooses the dark side option, resulting in Tavus being shot in the chest. Nomen Karr's fate can also be decided the same way, as the player can coerce his Padawan, Jaesa Willsaam (Rachel Leigh Cook), into decapitating her master as part of her first test as a Sith. Despite Karr's pleas, she cuts her master's head off.
