- Chiller (1985;TV movie) [Miles Creighton]: Dies (off-screen) of organ failure, ten years before the story begins; he is brought back to life (without a soul) after his cryogenically frozen body is thawed out and operated on. He dies once again after being shot in the chest by his mother (Beatrice Straight) in a meat locker.
- Houston: The Legend of Texas (Gone to Texas) (1986;TV movie) [Jim Bowie]]: Stabbed to death by Mexican forces (off-screen) during the battle at the Alamo. He is body is shown after the battle after John Nixon is sent to identify the notable people inside the Alamo.
- Murder, She Wrote: The Search for Peter Kerry (1989) [Danny Schubert]: Stabbed in the chest (off-screen) by Anita Morris. His body is shown afterwards when Anita, accompanied by Angela Lansbury, pretends to 'discover' him.
- In the Heat of the Night: Deadly Affection (1993) [Sonny Roper]: Shot to death by Hugh O'Connor, after Michael shoots at Hugh and the other police while he's holding Denise Nicholas, Teri Austin, and Juliet Sorci hostage.
- Babylon 5: Spider in the Web (1994) [Abel Horn]: Commits suicide by blowing himself up with an explosive rather than be captured.
