I'm trying to find a relatively-obscure film that I found out about from the original Cinemorgue site because the deaths were listed there and I was wondering if you knew the film I was talking about.
The basic story, as I remember reading about on IMDb, is a guy gets laughed out of a job interview, so he takes the office building hostage with a violent friend of his. There may have been more hostage takers, but I'm not certain. As I read from a review, the main character is a janitor at the building and former Vietnam veteran who goes against the bad guys.
From the original Cinemorgue site, I read that the guy laughed out of the interview is hit by a vehicle while strapped to a gurney (possibly an ambulance, but I don't remember the exact detail) and I believe the film ends with a cut to black right before he's hit. I know that the violent character had a page too and I don't remember exactly how he dies, but I think he was killed by the janitor. The interviewer who laughed the guy out also had an entry describing his death scene (although I don't remember it) and I recall one female death, who I believe was killed in an elevator by the violent character, and the actor who played the janitor did not have an entry, so I assume that he survived.
I probably got some details wrong because my memories are hazy, but from what I remember, do you have any idea about the film that I'm looking for?
I have been having a problem with Gsbr for the past week. Whatever edits I have made on the articles related to the Resident Evil 3 video game pages and two cast members on the 2020 remake keeps getting reverted by the user with little rhyme or reason other than "being incorrect." The root of the problem I am having is whatever data I write in about Neil Newbon is "incorrect" despite the fact that the actor himself did the performance capture for the titular villain Nemesis, and it's the equivalent of being the physical actor and the stunt double for the villain in question.
I honestly believe his reverts have been done in bad faith just for the sake of "ownership" for the Resident Evil/Biohazard franchise, and this user has been acting ignorant just to fit his semantics on what is "appropriate" for Cinemorgue. I do not edit on wikis for the purpose of misinformation. If I find someting that is accurate, I always post it whenever I get the chance. If I find something that is inaccurate, I always correct the info whenever possible.
At the time of this posting, edit wars have escalated for the past nine hours, and there is no sign of letting up no thanks to this user's stubborness up to the point user is actively deleting a new actor page I recently made. Can you please talk with him?
To repeat the same points I made on Arbinoman's page:
Your edit to Neil Newbon is being reverted because you keep removing the important information that his death is merely possible, not confirmed. You write his death as being a definite fact when his character's fate is actually left open-ended. To remove the fact that is fate is open-ended and the entry is included just in case is inaccurate.
Furthermore, performance capture is not the equivalent of being the physical actor because performance capture in video games is to assist the design team in character animations during gameplay, not to actually portray the character. Yes, it is more comparable to being a stunt double and we don't give stunt doubles entries for similar reasons. The focus here is on cast, not crew, and motion capture is crew work. This is reflected on the IMDb and Wikipedia. So to add information about Newbon's crew work on his page, William Hope's page, and the Resident Evil 3 (2020) page is incorrect.
Not only are you removing the fact that the fate of Newbon's character was left open-ended with little rhyme or reason, you are also removing that the death of Rick Zieff's character is implied, not outright stated with little rhyme or reason. You continue to remove that Roger Honeywell's death in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (1999) is non-canon. And, with little rhyme or reason, you renamed Hope's page as "William "Bill" Hope" when "William Hope" is what he's commonly credited as.
This was all stated to you from the start. You chose to ignore the reasons why your edits were being reverted and became insulting ("Quit censoring correct info, asshole.", "Acting is acting. Doesn’t matter what medium is, you moron."). Those are bad faith reverts and acting ignorant just to fit your semantics on what is "appropriate" for Cinemorgue. If you continue to post incorrect information and replace correct information with incorrect information, you are continuing to implement bad faith reverts.
Hi there! I'm Lostris, and I will be taking over from Mandy as this wiki's Wiki Manager. As she told you before, Wiki Managers are here to assist you and this community om a more local level, so if you have any questions for staff or need any help, just drop me a message, and I'll be happy to help out. Aside from assisting this community with any possible issues, I am also here to help you out with the fun stuff, so if you have an idea or fun project that you don't quite know how to get off the ground or that you feel could use a little bit more Fandom love, do not hesitate to reach out and pitch me your idea! I will also be getting in contact with the rest of the admins in this community to introduce myself and inform them of my position.
Additionally, I have some design ideas for this wiki's background, main page, wordmark, and favicon. This wiki is very solid thanks to your efforts and the rest of the community, but I think it could do even better if it was enhanced with an attractive design. I hope to hear back from you, so we can discuss this and come up with some concrete ideas so everything will be to your liking! I look forward to getting to know you and work together with you and this community!
this user is creating pages with no content and sticking a bunch of random people in the pages on films he created to prevent them from being deleted. Is there some way to stop them, perhaps through a ban?
Can we block IP address 2A02:C7D:D60D:800:FD44:2F8F:4931:EAE9. User has been adding fake deaths for actresss Zendeya. I've had to lock three pages.
Also, since I'm on here daily and having been editing this website more than anyone at this point, can I also have admin rights on top of content moderations. This way, I don't have to sent you a message everytime an IP address needs to be blocked due to vandalism.

Excuse me. What about Violence Jack series deaths? Shark (TV series 2006-2008), Game of Silence (American TV series 2016), Detective Conan (anime 1996), The Kindaichi Case Files (anime 1997-2000) and Inuyasha (anime 2000-2013). Detective Conan aka Case Closed (anime movie 1997). Inuyasha: The Final Act (anime 2012-2013) and (anime movie 2001-2004). Inuyasha and Case Closed Anime English dubs.
There are three anonymous users who are creating literally hundreds of pages for actors with no death scenes every week. They are exponentially increasing the amount of bloat on the wiki. Three people!! All three have many messages on their walls from multiple users telling them to stop. They refuse.
I think that a lot of this would be stopped if you were to block all anonymous users and force people to register a Fandom account if they want to contribute. This would make it easier to hold people accountable for posting garbage.
Alternatively, you could just ban those three specific IPs. I can give them to you if you want.
