- A Time For Killing (1967) [Sgt Luther Liskell, Confederate army]: Fatally shot inside the mission following a confrontation with fellow soldier Duke Hobbie, whom he has shot first, he manages to stagger outside and finally drops to his knees before being shot in the back by Duke who has crawled out after him. (Thanks to Brian)
- Macon County Line (1974) [Deputy Reed Morgan]: Shot to death (off-screen) by his son (Leif Garrett) in the woods. (Due to his son's mental state at the time, it's unclear whether the shooting was deliberate, accidental, or mistaken identity.) His body is shown afterwards when Sam Gilman discovers him.
