Film Deaths[]
- When Eight Bells Toll (1971) [Helicopter Pilot Williams]: Killed when his helicopter crashes onto the sea rocks after being shot repeatedly in the back when smugglers open fire on his aircraft. His body is later seen when said helicopter topples into the ocean, then again when Anthony Hopkins escapes their sunken craft.
- Outland (1981) [First Victim]: Dies of decompression when his lifeline tube is ripped out.
- Hidden Agenda (1990) [Captain Harris]: Killed by assassins who make it look like an IRA hit.
- The Last of the Mohicans (1992) [Colonel Edmund Munro]: Heart ripped out of his chest by Wes Studi during an ambush by a war party.
- Judge Dredd (1995) [Warden Miller]: Shot repeatedly by robot gun platforms after being shot in the throat by Armand Assante (thereby being unable to identify himself to the security robots). His body is later seen when guards enter the cell.
- Beautiful Creatures (2000) [Ronnie McMinn] Shot to death by Rachel Weisz after he is about to shoot Susan Lynch on discovering his brother (Tom Mannion) dead (having shot Iain Glen).
- The Dark (2005) [Dafydd]: Impaled on an iron spike after being knocked down a hole onto it while being trampled by sheep controlled by Abigail Stone. His body is later seen when Maria Bello looks down and sees him.
Television Deaths[]
- S.O.S. Titanic (1979 TV) [Fred Barrett]: Drowns or freezes to death in the sinking of the Titanic. He is listed among the casualties in the end credits. (historically inaccurate, he actually survived the sinking and died in 1931).
- Doctor Who: The Caves of Androzani (1984) [Stotz]: Shot by android Robert Glenister.
- Tutti Frutti: A Wop-Boppa Loo-Bop a Wop-Bam Boom (1987) [Vince Diver]: Commits suicide by dousing himself in vodka and setting himself on fire during a show.
- EastEnders (2004) [DCI Geoff Morton]: Is said to have commited suicide.
