Film Deaths

  • Rosemary's Baby (1968) [Hutch]: Dies (off-screen) after he falls into a fatal coma; the coma is brought along by a cult when Maurice planned to inform Mia Farrow of their activities, taking place in the apartment building where Mia is living.
  • Out of Thin Air (The Body Stealers, Invasion of the Body Stealers) (1969) [Dr. Matthews]: Playing a dual role, "Dr. Matthews" is killed off-screen (exact method unclear) and replaced by an alien impostor; his body is shown afterwards when Hilary Dwyer discovers him. The alien impostor is shot with a ray-gun by Lorna Wilde so that Hilary and Patrick Allen can escape.
  • Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1970) [Dr. Zaius]: Killed in an explosion (along with everybody else on Earth) when Charlton Heston's hand falls on the trigger of a doomsday bomb.
  • A Caribbean Mystery (1983) [Major Geoffrey Palgrave]: Poisoned (off-screen) with an overdose of medication by Jameson Parker in Maurice's bedroom; his body is shown when Lynne Moody discovers him the next morning.

TV Deaths

  • Hallmark Hall of Fame: Hamlet (1953) [Hamlet]: Slashed with a poison blade during a swordfight with William Smithers. He dies shortly after killing Joseph Schildkraut.
  • Hallmark Hall of Fame: Macbeth (1954) [Macbeth]: Killed at the end of a swordfight with Richard Waring.
  • Hallmark Hall of Fame: Macbeth (1960) [Macbeth]: Killed at the end of a swordfight with Ian Bannen.
