- Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005) [General Grievous]: Providing the voice of a cyborg, he implodes after Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) shoots his exposed organs, causing his innards to erupt into flames.
- Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens (2015) [Ello Asty / Quiggold / Niima Thug]: Voicing multiple characters, "Ello Asty" is killed in an explosion after his fighter is shot down. "Quiggold" and "Niima Thug" survive the film. (Since Matthew provided the character's voice and Paul Kasey physically portrayed the character, this death is listed on both pages.)

- Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Ambush (2008) [224]: Destroyed by Yoda (Tom Kane). (Matthew also voices various "Battle Droid" characters who are destroyed in several ways throughout the series.)

- Star Wars: Rebels: The Last Battle (2016) [B1-268 / Battle Droids]: "B1-268" is destroyed by enemy soldiers; the various "Battle Droid" characters are destroyed in several ways throughout the episode.
- The Mandalorian Chapter 16: The Rescue (2020) [Bib Fortuna]: Shot in the chest by Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison).

- Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005) [General Grievous]: Stabbed in the chest with a lightsaber by Obi-Wan Kenobi (James Arnold Taylor) at the end of a fight.
- Star Wars: Battlefront II (2005) [General Grievous]: Shot by either Temuera Morrison or slashed to death by Obi-Wan Kenobi (James Arnold Taylor) in the game's campaign mode; the nature of his death depends on who the player character is controlling.
